Everything you need to know before your first appointment, all in one place.
WHAT TO BRING – Please wear comfortable clothing that allows the physiotherapist to assess the area being treated. Please bring any relevant ACC claim details, scans, reports or referral information you have.
CANCELLATIONS – If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to another patient. Call or message 022 057 5557
ARRIVAL – Please arrive 5–10 minutes early for your first appointment so you have time to complete any required forms. If you are running late, please let us know as this may reduce your treatment time.
PRIVACY - Our clinic uses a curtained treatment cubicle, which provides visual privacy but does not provide complete auditory privacy. This means that conversations may sometimes be heard by others within the clinic.
We take reasonable steps to protect your confidentiality, including using background radio noise, speaking at an appropriate volume and limiting sensitive discussions where others may hear.
If you would prefer additional privacy when discussing personal or sensitive information, please let your physiotherapist know. We will make reasonable arrangements, or discussing the matter by telephone.
Gowns, shorts, towels and covers are also available during assessment and treatment.
